Upon entering the property via a flight of stairs there is a double bedroom to your left, the room with bunkbeds is also on the left before entering the open plan kitchen/living & dining area. Main bedroom with double bed at the rear of the property along with the family bathroom. There is reserved parking for one car with ample spaces also available on the street outside the property.

Mariners Cottage is a traditional terraced cottage on Elie High Street, built around 1749 and thoughtfully renovated to offer comfortable, well-equipped family accommodation with a lovely secure garden at the rear. You’re just a short stroll from local shops, cafés and the long sandy beach, with coastal walks and world-class golf close by, yet tucked in enough to feel calm and homely. Wi-Fi is provided, and one dog is welcome (terms and supplement apply), so four-legged guests can enjoy the seaside too.
Inside, the layout works brilliantly for mixed groups and guests with limited mobility. On the ground floor you’ll find a bright kitchen with dining table for six and everything you need for easy self-catering, plus a cosy sitting room with wood-burning stove, TV, radio and CD player – the perfect spot to warm up after a breezy beach walk or a round on the links. Also on this level is the master bedroom with king-size bed and en-suite wet room with shower, WC and basin, giving convenient ground-floor sleeping and washing facilities.
Upstairs, a further double bedroom and a twin room with two single beds are linked by a handy Jack-and-Jill bathroom with bath, shower over, WC and wash hand basin – ideal for families or friends sharing.
To the rear, the secure garden offers a peaceful outdoor space for children to play or adults to sit out with a drink, along with a charming summer house for quieter moments. (Please note there are some steps in the garden.) From Mariners, you can wander to the beach in minutes, join the Fife Coastal Path, or head for nearby Elie’s tennis and golf facilities, with St Andrews and the wider East Neuk within easy driving distance.
