Sahara Park (No 2) is a modern beachfront house in Elie, just redecorated and partially refurnished in 2022, and it’s a fantastic choice for a classic seaside holiday with stunning sea views. With private parking, wireless internet and easy access to Elie’s long sandy beach, you can step straight into beach days, coastal walks and water sports, then stroll back to your front door without fuss. The location is ideal too, with shops, restaurants, pubs, tennis courts and the golf course all within easy walking distance, so everything you need is close by, and St Andrews is only around 20 minutes away for day trips, sightseeing and famous fairways. Inside, the house is bright and sociable, with an open plan main living area that flows into a conservatory where you can relax and soak up the views whatever the weather. From here, a door leads out to a generous patio with outdoor table and chairs, perfect for al fresco meals, morning coffee in the sea air, or an evening wind down as the light changes over the water. The accommodation is well set up for families and larger groups, with four bedrooms made up of two king size doubles and two twin rooms, a master en suite, a family bathroom, plus an additional ground floor WC and a useful utility room that makes beachy days and longer stays feel easy.

Tucked on Park Place opposite Elie Parish Church, and less than two minutes’ walk from both the High Street and the long sandy beach, Church View is a charming, stone-built four-bedroom terraced house spread over three levels – ideal for easy-going coastal escapes with family or friends. Outside the summer season, flexible three-night stays are available, giving you the option of a shorter break by the sea without compromising on comfort or space. Pet-friendly stays (supplement applies) and Wi-Fi throughout keep everyone happy, four-legged guests included.
The ground floor is set up beautifully for sociable, relaxed living and works well for guests with limited mobility. A family-sized dining kitchen with modern units, range-style gas cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and fridge-freezer makes self-catering straightforward, with a kitchen table for casual meals and a door straight out to the enclosed rear courtyard. There’s also a separate front dining room with a large table and seating for up to ten – ideal for long dinners or celebratory gatherings – plus a twin bedroom and a freshly renovated cloakroom with WC and vanity basin (refurbished April 2023).
On the first floor, the sitting room is positioned to make the most of the views towards Elie Parish Church through its bay window. Two generous sofas, club chairs, a traditional fireplace and bookcase create a warm, inviting space to unwind after a day on the beach or exploring the East Neuk. This level also has a stylish front-facing king-size bedroom and two luxuriously refurbished bathrooms (April 2023): one with a freestanding bath, vanity unit and WC, and another sleek shower room with glass enclosure, vanity basin and illuminated mirror – perfect for unhurried, spa-style evenings in.
The top floor offers further flexible sleeping space, with a super-king bedroom framed by triple windows and lovely views, and a twin bedroom with bay window, both with plenty of storage. A spacious third shower room, also newly renovated in 2023, serves this floor with a large shower enclosure, vanity basin, WC and illuminated mirror.
To the rear, the enclosed courtyard is made for easy outdoor living, with furniture and a BBQ so you can gather up to eight guests for alfresco breakfasts, evening drinks or a relaxed family meal after a day on the coast. Parking is simple too, with unrestricted on-street spaces available on Park Place and Elie High Street. From Church View, you’re perfectly placed to enjoy Elie’s beach, local shops and coastal paths, with St Andrews and the rest of the East Neuk – plus a string of renowned golf courses – just a short drive away.
