Set in a quiet spot just a couple of minutes’ walk from the local beach and the Fife Coastal Path, this modern single-storey cottage is a lovely, easy-going base for exploring the East Neuk. Built around 30 years ago and completely renovated in 2019, it’s all on one level with off-street parking and a fully enclosed rear garden – ideal for families with young children or guests with limited mobility. Wi-Fi is included, so you can plan your days out and unwind with a film in the evening — broadband speed is 500Mb.
The heart of the home is the open-plan living, dining and kitchen area, designed for simple, sociable holiday living. There’s a TV with Freeview, comfy seating and a dining table and chairs, plus French doors that open straight out onto the decking and garden – perfect for letting the sea air in on sunny days. The well-equipped kitchen includes an electric cooker (oven and hob), microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, half-and-half fridge/freezer and a clever instant hot water tap with filtered water, so everything from quick breakfasts to easy family suppers is covered.
There are two comfortable bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a king-size bed, and a hair dryer, offering a calm space to retreat at the end of the day. Bedroom 2 is a flexible twin with two single beds, The modern bathroom has a bath, separate free-standing shower, WC and wash hand basin.
Outside, the fully enclosed rear garden and decked area provide a safe, private spot for children to play and for adults to relax with a drink after coastal walks, village wanders or a day at the beach. This is the kind of place where you can park the car, slow down and enjoy simple seaside living.
