Description
The Balone Garden Cottage is a luxury retreat with spectacular views over the St Andrews countryside and a wood burning stove. The cottage has been finished to the highest standard and comfortable sleeps 2 in a double bedroom with access to the patio via the French doors. The open-plan kitchen lounge is peaceful whether the bifold doors are open to the fresh air or cosy with the wood burner. Property features a Dyson Purifier which purifies, humidifies and cools the bedroom in the cottage. The property has it's own entrance on the ground floor and free parking for one car at the end of the driveway. The accommodation layouts are as follows:
Ground Floor - 1 double bedroom with luxury mattress and with full wardrobe. Perfect for guests with mobility requirements. The bathroom has a large walk in shower with a Lusso hand wash basin, a wall hung WC and a delightful Spanish caustic tile floor. Whilst there is no garden available with the cottage, there is an enclosed patio garden via the French doors in the bedroom or via the bifold doors in the lounge. The kitchen has a dishwasher, a fridge, a Smeg ceramic 2 ring hob, and a high spec oven/microwave. There is no washing machine available for guest use. In the lounge, there is a small dining table with a Smart TV and logs are provided for the wood burner.

East Cottage is 5 mins drive to St Andrews and boasts a wood burning stove-fired hot tub. The 2 bedroom cottage has a spacious living/kitchen area with bifold doors out to the large dog-friendly garden. One bathroom with doubled-ended bath and shower.
Comfortably sleeps 4 in two bedrooms. Free parking for 2 cars. Suitable for families, holiday-makers and golfers alike. 5/10 mins drive into St Andrews. Free Wifi in the property. The property has it's own entrance on the ground floor and ample on-street free parking directly outside. The accommodation layouts are as follows: Ground Floor - 1 superking bedroom with storage, 1 twin room that can be made up as a double or twins. Bathroom. Living area/kitchen has bifold doors out to the garden as well as a stable door out to the garden. The outhouse is in the garden and has a 3 seat electric Lazyboy sofa. The TV has Netflix and a PS4. **Please note if the weather is particularly harsh and has been raining constantly, this outhouse will be out of action as the water table creeps up to the floor level** Hot Tub - will be filled for your arrival however will not be heated. The hot tub will take around 2/3 hours to reach full temperature and does get very hot, so please be very careful. Robes, extra towels and logs will be provided. Guests will have full access to the entire property. No rooms will be off limits and all contents within the cottage including the outhouse are there for our guests use including wifi, the TV and the cooking implements. Smoking is not permitted within the property. I expect all guests to respect the property and our neighbours. Dogs are welcome however an additional dog charge will be applied.1 review -
