Description
Little Net House is a charming, traditional ground-floor apartment set just a few steps from Pittenweem’s picturesque harbour. All on one level, it’s a wonderfully easy place to settle in, with calm coastal styling, a cosy log-burning stove and fantastic sea views from the rear living area and private patio garden. It’s ideal for a couple or two friends looking to unwind by the water, with Wi-Fi provided and one small dog welcome by prior arrangement (supplement applies).
From the reception hall, you walk through to the open-plan lounge, dining and kitchen area, all facing out towards the Forth. A well-equipped galley-style kitchen keeps things simple, with a two-ring electric hob, oven, cooker hood, fridge and microwave, plus a small dining table for two. In the sitting area, a two-seater sofa, matching chair, coffee table and wood-burning stove create a snug spot for relaxing after a day exploring the East Neuk, with a TV and DVD player on hand for cosy evenings in. A handy cupboard off the hall houses a washer/dryer and tabletop freezer.
The peaceful bedroom has a super king-size bed that can also be made up as two singles on request, giving flexibility for couples or friends, along with wardrobe and drawer storage. The fully tiled, modern shower room is fresh and contemporary, with an enclosed shower, wash hand basin, WC and chrome heated towel rail.
French doors from the living area open onto a raised deck and private patio, where you can sit with a morning coffee or an evening drink and enjoy those wide-open sea views. With a garden bench and table/bench set provided, it’s a lovely little outdoor nook for soaking up the coastal atmosphere right in the heart of Pittenweem.

A stunningly refurbished penthouse flat with views of the sea and harbour provides a spacious and comfortable living space. Sleeps 2-4, free on-street parking at harbour, Wifi
Renovated throughout in 2017, this one-bedroom penthouse flat offers everything you need for an East Neuk of Fife get-away – and it’s right on the Fife Coastal Path, overlooking the lively, working harbour of Pittenweem. The centrepiece of this bright and airy flat is the open-plan kitchen/diner and lounge which offers views south, out into the Firth of Forth and the North Sea. We recommend the comfy sofa to cast your eye over fishermen laying their creels in the sparkling waters – and we have even seen whales here. Or take a lounge window seat and look west over the boats – and seals – bobbing around in the harbour.
The penthouse is an ideal retreat for couples, although the lounge sofa is a comfortable double bed-settee to offer extra sleeping space. Larger groups could also rent the main two-storey house below, House on the Harbour, with its separate entrances 1 . The House on the Harbour sleeps 6; and together the penthouse and main house could comfortably accommodate groups of up to 10. As you would expect of a total refurbishment, everything in the penthouse is new – kitchen, lounge, bathroom, bedroom, utility room – and all furniture and equipment. The kitchen has a gas hob with an electric oven, dishwasher, fridge and ample work surfaces and storage cupboards. A small freezer
is in the utility room, along with the washing machine. The dining table comfortably seats 4; and the lounge area includes a well-lit desk if you need to use a laptop.
The bedroom has a super king-size bed and sits alongside a wardrobe and chest of drawers – plenty space. Next door is the bathroom with walk-in shower and separate bath and everything you need for a relaxing stay.
Original artwork – paintings and prints –features in all rooms, and is by David Henderson.
The House on the Harbour sleeps 6 and together the penthouse and main house could comfortably accommodate groups of up to 10. Please enquire if you would like to book both as we offer 5% discount.1 review
